Every now and then the stars align and great plans are made.... like when a friend buys a Harley Davidson Softail and offers it to you to see what you can do with it.... at the same time two great models tell you they would love to collaborate on a shoot sometime and a local Equestrian centre offers you to use their location if you ever need a nice country/horsey feel to a photo-shoot....
So we decided to say goodbye to the usual hot chick on hot bike glamour motorbike portraits and say hello to high class, elegant, edgy bike fashion imagery. Working with people like beautiful Kenyan model Raisa and her friend Ethiopian model Hannah (who met on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean) we wanted to pull out all the stops and create a little magic of our own.
It was perfect timing too as we are about to launch a new offer for car and motorcycle enthusiasts creating images around them, their vehicles and their lifestyle.
This shoot is going to be one in an ongoing series for us at Life portraits. We love collaborating with other creatives in and around our industry and outside businesses and just people with a passion for imagery. So we have set ourselves a monthly challenge challenge to do a creative shoot all for ourselves.
Getting away from the studio and breaking up our commercial and consumer photoshoots really lets us enjoy our passion for photography but its not all self-serving. This lets our creative ideas come to life and gives us a chance to experiment with new shooting techniques, equipment, put our ideas into reality, try out locations and collaborating with other businesses. All of which feeds back into our day-to-day client work so we are constantly pushing ourselvesto perform at our best.
So a big thanks to:
