The Great Ocean Road Road Trip Adventure: Brisbane Portrait & Commercial Photographers

A TICK OFF THE BUCKET LIST... THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD

I've always dreamed of travelling to the Great Ocean Road and capturing it's raw beauty. So this year I planned a 4 day getaway road trip with my partner Corey to explore the coast.

Starting in Melbourne with a hire car, we travelled all the way down the coastline visiting the towns of Torquay, Lorne, Apollo Bay (for a sneaky scallop pie and brewery beer) and Port Campbell. Some of the most unreal locations to see were of course the 12 Apostles, Loch ard Gorge, The Grotto, London Bridge, Gibson’s Steps, Bay of Islands, the Californian Redwoods Forest and some lookouts along the way.

We stayed at a beautiful cottage 12 Apostles Cottages, 5 mins drive from the Apostles, so we could easily enjoy the many natural beauties along the coastline at sunrise and sunset (and to miss the crowds)!

Here's a few of my favourite memories along the way! We are so lucky to have such unbelievable natural wonders in our country!

A Gym Environment Like No Other - Strength Sanctuary Stafford - Brisbane Commercial Fitness Photography

With so many gyms, franchises and personal trainer businesses around now it’s hard to find one that you’re going to love and suit your needs.

I came across Strength Sanctuary in Stafford through a friend, and from the moment I stepped into this gym, I was blown away. The environment, the equipment, the welcoming owners and members… it has it all.

Located in a large warehouse in Stafford, owners Oran and Nic created a place they always dreamed of to train - amazing equipment, great music, graffiti walls, table tennis, dogs allowed, couches and in the company of friends.

Not only is this an amazing place to train, I regularly use this as a location for my photoshoots as it’s so vibrant in it’s colours and has so much room and great equipment for my clients. They also have an outdoor area with plants and sled area also. As Oran & Nic always accommodate me and my fitness clients, I thought I would return the favour by capturing this sanctuary of theirs.

The NEW Eat Street Northshore - let these photos convince you to go!

If you haven't been to the new Eat Street Northshore in Brisbane, let these photos convince you to go! The markets are now double in size and are a foodie's heaven with food and drink from all over the world. It's an eye opening experiencing just being inside this amazing venue, let alone spending all your cash on the range of delicious food, drinks and irresistible desserts they have. 

The venue is open every weekend of the year Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm and Sunday 11am to 7pm. See our behind the scenes images below.

Coldplay lights up Brisbane City

While much of Brisbane flocked to Suncorp Stadium last week for Coldplay, I watched (and listened) from my balcony in Milton. I didn't have a ticket to the show, but I witnessed the concert from a different view. The sound erupted from the stadium across the city and I heard the entire concert from the comfort of my home. 

This was an opportunity I could not pass up! I set my camera up and captured this beautiful, tear drawing experience through the lens.
