The True Love Story: Brenda & Drew's Wedding - 14.4.19

From photographing them as a family, to now photographing their special day, Brenda, Drew & Christina are such a beautiful family and truly embody the essence of family. Capturing Brenda & Drew’s Wedding Day was such a raw display of love, devotion and their dedication to their future together.

They share such a special bond between them, so in love, like there’s is no one else in the room, in their own love bubble. It was just beautiful to witness and capture. But we can’t forget little Christina. They involved her in every part of the wedding, bridal photos, ceremony and she even had her own speech she wrote at the reception.

I hope to be able to follow Brenda, Drew & Christina’s journey for many more years, capturing their love, their passions and how much they care for each other documenting this through imagery.

Congratulations to you both and I wish you all the best on your future together! I can’t wait to see your wedding book to preserve all these beautiful memories for a lifetime <3

Life Portraits get featured in Brisbane Bride Magazine & OnTrend Bridal SUMMER 2018

We have been lucky enough to work with the team at BRISBANE BRIDE Magazine & ONTREND BRIDAL on some of their styled wedding photoshoots as well as being featuring in their real weddings section of their magazines.  

The Summer 2018 editions of ONTREND BRIDAL and BRISBANE BRIDE Magazine came out in newsagents from 8 February, so what better way to celebrate than with a get together and networking event with all those involved. Being featured in both magazines and getting to work with the team on these amazing styled shoots, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to enjoy the event and take some snaps!

The Wedding of Lauren + Paddy Slater

Thursday 29 June was a very special day for Lauren + Paddy, tying the knot at Mt Cootha's Summit Restaurant overlooking Brisbane City. Their special day was shared with friends and family, travelling from across the world, to share this with them. 

Everything was right about this location, stunning views, beautiful light and lots of amazing photo locations. I was very lucky to be working with a fun, enthusiastic and humorous bridal party that made the day a lot of fun. 

As Lauren stepped out of the limo, I was blown away by her beauty, the smile on her Fathers' face was just priceless. Watching Paddy's reaction as she walked down the isle was breathtaking and the love they both shared with their little girl Mia was just beautiful. They shared laughs and tears at the ceremony and lots of memories were shared. Even Paddy's Mum captured the wedding live on her phone so the family overseas could be a part of the wedding. The love they share is undeniable, congratulations Lauren + Paddy!
